Practical questions
How are clean-ups organised?
COMSADI works with community contacts to agree a site, time, and safety plan. Volunteers are briefed on waste handling; coordinators log the event in LitterTrace.
How is safety managed?
We emphasise gloves, careful waste handling, and coordination with local authorities where needed. High-risk materials are not handled by untrained volunteers.
How does data logging work with LitterTrace?
Volunteers or coordinators use phones to log GPS location, waste types/metrics, photos, and check-ins. Training is provided so data quality stays high.
How is data used?
Aggregated, verified data supports community feedback, LGA conversations, and donor reporting. COMSADI owns project data; LitterTrace is the platform partner.
