COMSADI is a Nigerian non-profit that delivers community sanitation programmes with donor-grade monitoring: GPS, photographs, structured metrics, and exportable reports.
Why we exist
Reduce environmental pollution and improve public health via community-led sanitation and litter mapping in vulnerable urban, peri-urban, and rural communities in Nigeria — with particular attention to blocked drains, flood risk, and the public-health co-benefits of cleaner shared spaces.
Partnership, not replacement
COMSADI was founded to organise serious community sanitation work and to document it to a standard that communities, LGAs, and international grantors can trust.
Too many clean-ups leave only photos on phones and fading memories. COMSADI collaborates with LitterTrace Ltd so every event can become GPS-stamped, photo-evidenced, structured data — while remaining an independent Nigerian non-profit. We work with existing community actors and local authorities; we do not replace them. LitterTrace is a partner tool, not the NGO itself.

Independent UK civic-tech partner providing the LitterTrace platform, training, exports, and methodology support under a written agreement — with no equity or control over COMSADI.
Independent board majority
Board of Trustees includes qualified environmental health / waste management professionals. The LitterTrace founder may serve as one trustee (Technology & Monitoring) alongside independent members — with at least two trustees holding no financial interest in LitterTrace Ltd.
